What we keep, and what we don't

Last updated August 30, 2026

Blaine County Preparedness is a small community site. We collect the least we can get away with, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

What we collect

If you only read the site, we collect nothing about you. No account, no tracking, no advertising profiles.

If you sign in to take part in The Table, you sign in through Google. We never see or store your password — Google handles that. What we receive and store is:

We also store what you write: your threads and replies, and when you posted them. That's the point of a forum.

Why we collect it

Your name appears next to what you write, so conversations have people in them rather than anonymous voices. Your email lets us reach you about your account or something you posted, and lets us tell one person from another. That's all it's for.

What we don't do

Who can see what

Anyone can read the forum. Your display name and anything you post are public. Your email address is not shown to other users — only site administrators can see it.

Where it lives

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Accounts and forum content are stored with Supabase. Both are established providers with their own security practices. Sign-in is handled by Google.

Deleting your information

Write to us and we'll delete your account and, if you want, your posts. No process, no argument. Deleting your account removes your name, email, and picture from our records.

Children

This site isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
